  • Can sheets be cut to size?

    As a brokerage service, we do not have the facility to cut material. However if you require a large quantity cut to size, we may be able to arrange this at extra cost.

  • What happens if I want more than is available?

    We will advise you of the availability of current stock and if further stock is anticipated.

  • How long would it take to receive my order?

    Orders are normally dispatched within 48 hours of confirmation; this usually means the next working day. The carrier service we use is an express service. Therefore you should receive your order within 72 hours. We would not usually expect this to exceed 5 days.

  • Will my payment details be secure?

    Yes, your payment details will never be divulged to any third parties. They will be used solely for transactions between you and Plastic-sheets.

  • Can I be informed when a product comes into stock?

    If you register your interest in a product we can forward an email when the product becomes available.

  • When you quote colour references (BS etc), are matches guaranteed?

    If a reference is quoted, colours will be within normal commercial tolerances, but we do suggest you check the comments on the material record. There are always variations between materials and manufacturers, if in doubt, you can always request a sample.

  • How will my order be packaged / delivered?

    Your order will be packaged in line with our guidelines, collected within 48 hours and delivered by our nominated national carrier service within 48-72 hours of our confirmation. We would not normally expect this to exceed 5 days and certainly within 19 days. Deliveries will usually be made between 8.30am & 5.30pm.

  • Can my order be delivered to a different address to my payment address?

    Yes, the order will be delivered to the address you advise when ordering.

  • How will I know if my order has been accepted?

    We will send an email confirming the details of your order to you – if you do not receive this email please ring us on
    0800 328 4299.

  • What happens if the sheet I receive isn’t what I ordered?

    Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the details of your order – you will need your order number – we can then check what was ordered and what has been dispatched. We can then from there discuss if you require a credit or a replacement sheet.

  • The sheet has been damaged in transit – what do I do?

    Please contact Plastic-sheets, with your order number. If possible take pictures of the damage.

  • Is there a minimum order quantity?

    No, you can buy or sell as little or as much as you like!

  • I’d like to be a regular customer – can I set up a trade account?

    No, at the present time we do not offer credit facilities. However we may consider this in the future.

  • Can I collect my order?

    No, it is not possible to collect from us.

  • How do I progress my order and view previous orders?

    You can view your account status via our website. You can also contact us via e-mail, fax or phone.

  • I’ve forgotten my login / password details?

    You can request confirmation of these via our website. In case of difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

  • Can I amend my order once its submitted?

    Yes, but you will need to act quickly, orders are normally dispatched within 48 hours.

  • Why do the prices vary for the same product?

    It is possible that the same product is available from different suppliers, or that prices may vary between batches. We will always aim to supply the lowest price product first in such cases.

  • Will my details be passed to a third party?

    No, your confidential details are precisely that. They will be used solely for transactions between you and Plastic-sheets.

  • Could I have a colour sample / swatch of the sheet I am after?

    Yes, we always suggest to suppliers that small samples should be made available on request. However, this is at the suppliers discretion, but we will always try to fulfil requests.

  • Can I buy and sell sheet through Plastic-sheets?

    Yes, many customers are also suppliers. People looking for a particular sheet, often have stock that they wish to sell too.

  • What is M/f Ref?

    This is the material manufacturers colour reference, usually the extruder. Providing this will help people in the trade to identify the colour.
